1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide when you sign up: name, email, optional phone number, and authentication credentials.
- Profile content you choose to add: avatar, location, headline, interests, employment preferences, area of interest, resume text, career paths, and connections.
- Usage data we generate as you use RELAY: sprint progress, quiz attempts, points earned, messages you send through in-app chat, and feature interactions.
- Device & log data standard to web applications: IP address, browser, device type, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.
2. How we use information
- Provide the sprint, resume, quiz, runtime, and community features you request.
- Personalize recommendations (career paths, target roles, runtime challenges) to your profile.
- Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the platform.
- Communicate service messages, product updates you opt into, and customer support replies.
3. Your data, your account
Career paths, resume drafts, quiz history, and personal progress are tied to your authenticated account and scoped so that other users cannot view them. You can delete an individual career path from your dashboard and it is removed across all parts of RELAY. You can request full account deletion from your profile settings; we honor deletion requests in line with applicable law.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed to operate RELAY:
- Service providers that host the platform, send transactional email, run AI inference for suggestions and analysis, and process payments, under contractual confidentiality.
- Other RELAY users only with content you opt to publish (your public profile, community listing, group sprint, shared passport, or messages you send them).
- Legal & safety disclosures when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. AI features
Suggestions, quiz generation, code grading, ATS analysis, and recommendations are produced by AI models we call through our infrastructure provider. We do not train third-party models on your private content. AI output is informational, not professional or legal advice.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use first-party storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We use lightweight analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the product; we do not place advertising cookies. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
7. Security
We apply industry-standard practices including encryption in transit, role-based access to internal systems, and authentication on all user data. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to security@sprintwithrelay.com.
8. Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we remove or anonymize it within a reasonable window unless we need to keep it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@sprintwithrelay.com to exercise them.
10. Children
RELAY is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced inside the app or by email when we have one on file. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
